Tout débuta dans une soirée de l'année 2006. Une soirée, disons-le, des plus banales. Warraxe et Benfok commencèrent à créer ce qui deviendra plus tard '' Far Away ''. Après avoir fait le premier jet d'une toune qui vraisemblablement '' botte des culs '', les 2 hommes décidèrent de pousser le projet plus loin. Ils se mirent alors à la recherche de musiciens pour complèter la formation. La recherche fut difficile et longue car il fallait non seulement des musiciens talentueux et sérieux mais aussi ils devaient être compatible avec les cerveaux nettement inférieurs de Warraxe et Benfok. Freydrick fut le premier à se joindre à la troupe, armé de sa barbe blonde! Ensuite arriva le protecteur du unholy keyboard, Dark Dreamer, qui lui avait pour arme une méchanceté si... si... méchante. D'autres musiciens se joinrent au band mais vue les incompatibilités d'horaire, ils ont dû prendre un autre chemin. La horde était alors presque complète. Warraxe prit le rôle de guitariste-chanteur et son beau-frère le rôle de claviériste... mais un drummeur manquait toujours à l'appel.
C'est alors que des froides entrailles d'Hiverna, un troll se leva et se joint à la horde... j'ai nommé Bardunor. Malheureusement, ce troll a dû retourner dans son antre mais sa quête avec les braves hommes de Nordheim n'est pas encore terminée, quelques barils de bière ne sont qu'entamés et doivent absolument se terminer. Mais ça... c'est une autre histoire. Ensuite, un très vieil ami sortit de l'ombre et s'exclama : << Je joue du drum, pis vite en cr?&* ! >> C'est alors que Phil Poul prit la place de Bardunor. Il a contribué au Demo ainsi qu'à l'album '' Lost In The North ''. Quelques années passèrent ainsi mais en 2011, Phil Poul du tirer sa révérence en donnant sa place à Monsieur Viking Barbe Rousse, le séduisant Lucas Biron ( Kälter ) qui se lia à la confrérie Barbare. C'est alors qu'en 2013, ils se lancèrent en Drakkar à la conquête le leur prochain baril de Potion Magique '' REFILL ''. Peu après la sortie de ce deuxième album, Thom, le beau-frère à Warraxe, du partir avec d'autres diligences Troll pour combattre contre les Impitoyables armées de l'Est. C'es donc à l'été 2014 qu'ils entrendirent un lointain hurlement plaintif... Suivi de quelques notes de piano...
Il s'agissait d'un jeune Loup : le Loup-Gab d'Amérique. La formation est enfin complète depuis ce temps. Nordheim se prépare alors pour plusieurs autres voyages périlleux à bord de leur Drakkar bâteau Troll !

Everything started on a particularly not very eventful night back in 2006. Warraxe and Benfok started to create what would eventually be known as "Far Away". After the first draft of a song that seems to kick some ass, the 2 men decided it was time to push the project further so they started their quest to find other musicians to complete the band. That quest was long and hard because these musicians not only needed to be serious and talented, they also needed to be compatible with the inferior brains of Warraxe and Benfok. Freydrick was the first one to join the troops....armed with his blonde beard" Then came the protector of thy unholy keyboard, Dark Dreamer, whose evil was just so... evil. Other musicians joined the band as well but due to conflicting schedule, they went on some other path. The horde was almost complete. Warraxe chose the path of the guitar player/singer and his brother-in-law chose the keyboard but a drummer was still missing.
Then from the frozen guts of Hiverna, a troll named Bardunor rose and joined the horde. Unfortunately this troll had to go back to his cave but his quest with the braves folks from Nordheim is not completed... some beer barrels still needs to be drank....but that's another tale. Then a very old friend came out of the shadows and claimed: " I can play drums...I can play fuc**ng fast!". So Phil Poul joined and replace Bardunnor. He contributed to the demo and to the first album " Lost In The North". Some years passed but in 2011, Phil Poul departed from the band, opening the door for a Red Bearded Viking, the seducing Lucas Biron (Kälter) who joined the barbarian brotherhood. They then loaded the longship and started the quest for their next barrel of potion called "Refill". Soon after the release of the second album, Thom, the brother-in-law of Warraxe had to leave in order to fight the stone cold armies of the east. But during the summer of 2014, they heard a far away howl...followed by some notes from a piano...
These notes came from a young wolf called the Loup-Gab of America. Since then, the band is complete. Nordheim is ready to sail through many perilous travels aboard their troll longship!
